Fire that hangs in the room
A suspended fireplace hangs from the ceiling on its own flue, with nothing touching the floor. It is the most dramatic thing you can do with a fire, and in an open-plan room it works as the room's centrepiece rather than something pushed against a wall.
Every model is supplied with its mounting bracket, damper, 360° pivot and flue pipe up to a 3 m anchor position. The ceiling structure has to carry the load, so this is a decision to make early — we survey before quoting. Pipe runs longer than 2.2 m need a junction sleeve.
The Range
Each of these is a family rather than a single product — sizes and finishes are chosen when we spec the build. Prices start at the smallest, plainest configuration of a family and climb with size and finish.
Aero
From R 59 995
The signature suspended unit — a wide, shallow bowl that reads as a floating disc of fire. Available at 600 mm in wood or bio-ethanol, and at 1200 mm in wood.
Halo

A rounded open-fronted design at 700 mm. Smaller than the Aero and easier to place in a normal-height room.
Globe

A spherical body with a wide opening — the most sculptural unit in the range, and the one that photographs best.
Cone

A tapered cone at 900 mm. The classic mid-century hanging fireplace silhouette, done properly.
Drop

A teardrop body at 900 mm — softer than the Cone, with a deeper firebox that holds a longer burn.
Silo
From R 69 995
A cylindrical closed unit on a 350 mm flue. The only suspended model offered in gas as well as wood, across four sizes.
Tube
Price on request
The narrowest profile in the range — a slim vertical cylinder for rooms where a wide unit would crowd the space.
