Wood, charcoal and gas — built in properly
Two ranges: the Signature insert braais, which are built into a wall or counter and finished to match the kitchen, and the Ember range, which is the newer, more compact take on the same idea.
Braai bodies are supplied in mild steel with a black finish or in full 304 stainless steel, with the door and frame specified separately — stainless can be powder-coated black if the look calls for it. Extraction is the part most people underestimate: a gather and a cowl are the minimum, and a motorised extractor makes the difference between a usable indoor braai and a smoky room.

Each of these is a family rather than a single product — sizes and finishes are chosen when we spec the build. Prices start at the smallest, plainest configuration of a family and climb with size and finish.
Ember Braai — Freestanding

The Ember as a standalone unit. Wood and charcoal, with the ember maker that gives the range its name.
Ember Braai — Counter Top

Sits on an existing counter rather than being built into one. The easiest way to add a braai to a finished patio.
Ember Braai — Built In

The built-in Ember body, in mild steel or full 304 stainless, with the frame and doors below specified to match.
Signature Insert Braai

The original insert braai body, sized 800 mm to 2000 mm, with a gather and damper above and a door-and-frame set below.
Gas Griller Insert

A gas griller that drops into the same opening as a wood braai, with an optional cooker dome and rotisserie for roasting.
Adventure Grill

A freestanding gas braai for outdoor use — the portable end of the Signi Fires range.
Spit Braai
From R 129 995
Full 304 stainless spit braais in charcoal and wood, charcoal with a gas back burner, or full gas. Gather with damper and heat shields included.
